Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information Dank Memes Only ("we", "us"), operated by Akash Wadhwani (Sheets.Works), collects when you use dankmemesonly.com (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little. We sell memes, not your data.
1. Information we collect
- Account information. Your email address and a password (stored securely and hashed by our authentication provider; we never see your raw password).
- Payment information. When you subscribe, payment is handled by Stripe. We receive limited billing details (such as your subscription status, the last four digits of your card, and a customer ID). We do not store full card numbers.
- Submissions. If you submit a meme, we store it along with any handle you provide for credit.
- Usage and device data. Basic technical data such as IP address, browser/user-agent, and interactions with the Service, used for security, analytics, and abuse prevention.
- Communications. If you email us, we keep that correspondence.
2. How we use information
- To provide and operate the Service (sign-in, deliver memes, enforce limits);
- To process subscriptions and send transactional emails (welcome, cancellation, receipts);
- To prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access;
- To understand and improve the Service;
- To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
3. Service providers we use
We rely on trusted third parties who process data on our behalf:
- Google Firebase — authentication, database, and hosting (privacy).
- Stripe — payment processing (privacy).
- Amazon Web Services (SES) — sending email (privacy).
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Cookies and local storage
We use your browser's local storage for things like remembering that you confirmed you're 18+ and keeping you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear local storage in your browser settings, though doing so may sign you out.
5. Data retention and deletion
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data by emailing akash@sheets.works. Some records (e.g. payment/tax records held by Stripe or required by law) may be retained as required.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email akash@sheets.works. We will respond as required by applicable law.
7. Children
The Service is for adults only and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the date above and, where appropriate, notify you of material changes.
